Content restrictions per profile
- Web: open the profile → avatar → Settings → Preferences → Content Restrictions. Mobile: open the profile → Account → Content Restrictions.
- Pick the rating level and confirm with the primary account password.
Every profile defaults to 16 and up. Only the primary account holder can change restrictions.

Profile PIN
- Avatar → account settings → Profile PIN → toggle on → enter account password → Continue.
Available on all Premium tiers. Use it on adult profiles so kids can't switch in.
On TVs & streaming devices
- Roku: Create a 4-digit PIN at my.roku.com to restrict purchases, subscriptions and adding apps, plus ratings in The Roku Channel. source
- Fire TV: Settings → Preferences → Parental Controls, then set a PIN to protect ratings, purchases and apps. Separate from Prime Video's settings. source
